What Is Montessori?
The purpose of Montessori is to develop an envirnoment where a child can unfold spontaneously and begin to develop his/her inner self. Rather than "teaching" the child the concepts, the environment stimulates the child's interest and allows the child to work independently, nurturing the child's love of life and learning. Montessori method provides an environment where every aspect of your child's development is respected. The classroom community is a group that your child grows to love and be secure in. The children become partners in their search for self, and gain confidence in their search for knowledge.
